Workshop Topics and Dates during winter semester 2022/23

What language learning strategies do you currently use and how could they be improved?
What do you have the most problems with and how can you deal with them?
What is your language goal and how could you achieve it?

These questions are the starting point of this workshop. Learning a language in a language course is often quite straightforward (at least in theory). Autonomous language learning, on the other hand, offers many more possibilitie, but also requires (self-) organisation and motivation.

In this two-part workshop, we will discuss language learning techniques outside the classroom, new approaches to language learning and how you could find out what works best for you. We will focus mainly on speaking and comprehension than on reading and writing.

This two-part workshop is open to all students and staff of the Arqus Alliance universities, regardless of the foreign language you are learning and the language level (A1-C1).

The workshop will take place online in English on Thursday 24 November and 15 December 2023 at 5.15 - 6.15 pm.

Attendance is required on both days.

Registration is open until 23 November by email as long as there are free places.
